Ann will bring fairness, integrity, and compassion to the local judicial process
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me and my values. I have had the privilege and honor of being elected to Downingtown Borough Council for three consecutive terms (2009 – present). Since becoming active in the community to save Kardon Park and then as an elected representative, I have consistently been a vocal advocate for residents and promoted transparency and lawfulness in local government.
I cultivated a passion for the law and the Constitution during my lawsuit against the Downingtown Borough Council to overturn their 2007 illegal sale of Kardon Park (aka “The Ponds”) to developers. The long nine-year court battle involved blocking legislation at the 11th hour…twice, and finally resulted in a 2017 Pa Supreme Court landmark victory! This decision strengthened the Pa Constitution’s Environmental Rights Amendment (Article I Section 27) and closed gaps that were being exploited to allow the use/sale of assets (parkland, museums, etc.), which are to be held in trust for the public’s use and enjoyment.
As an MDJ I will hear cases that directly impact the local community and the lives of individual citizens. As a judge, I will continue to practice integrity and compassion while applying the law with fairness and impartiality.
I look forward to serving the community as a magisterial district judge bringing integrity, fairness, and compassion to the local judicial process.
Any contributions are greatly appreciated and can be made to:
